The small but lovely Niederthai ski area is the ideal place for beginners and families with children. They can venture their first attempts on skis in total safety on the gentle slopes. The entrance to the Niederthai ski area using three drag lifts and a children’s lift is situated right in front of our activity hotel in Ötztal.
Your ski holiday in Ötztal doesn’t just guarantee you relaxed skiing but also cheap skiing: the ski pass for the Niederthai ski area is included in the room rate for our hotel guests thanks to the Niederthai Card.
The ski schools in Niederthai offer courses for children aged 3 and above. A ski kindergarten with all-day supervision also awaits families with children on their ski holiday in Ötztal. - The child-friendly Niederthai ski area is situated in the direct vicinity of our hotel.
- The Hochoetz ski area is also suitable for families. It has 39 kilometres of slopes, 12 lifts, lots of rustic huts and a real highlight: the Snow Village, Austria’s first igloo village at 2,000 m.
- The Kühtai ski area is linked to the Hochoetz ski area by a free bus service. More than 80 km of ski slopes, a freestyle park and kids park ensure pure fun on the slopes.
- The Sölden ski area has an impressive 145 kilometres of slopes, two glacier ski areas and 3 three thousand metre peaks that you can reach by lifts.
- Obergurgl/Hochgurgl is the "Top quality skiing area" with 112 kilometres of slopes and snow guarantee from mid November to the end of April.
